Martin Luther King, Jr
All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality.
The major link between people is that we are all human.

All people should know and learn from their history.
Mohandas Gandhi
A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and souls of its people.
The people are the heart and core of their nation’s history and traditions
Amin Maalouf
Traditions deserve to be respected only insofar as they are respectable – that is, exactly insofar as they themselves respect the fundamental rights of men and women.
Traditions are to be respected and acknowledged if it’s morally right. If the tradition negatively affects the rights of others it will most likely be abolished
Martin Luther King Jr.
God is not merely interested in the freedom of brown men, yellow men, red men and black men .He is interested in the freedom of the whole human race.

When you're finally up on the moon, looking back at the earth, all these differences and nationalistic traits are pretty well going to blend and you're going to get a concept that maybe this is really one world and why the hell can't we learn to live together like decent people
Looking at the earth from space, one wonders why we can’t get along decently.
Pablo Casals
The love of one’s country is a splendid thing, but why should it stop at the border?
Love should not be limited only in your country, it should reach others as well.
Dwight Eisenhower
The world must learn to work together, or finally it will not work at all.
If people of the world can’t get along, nothing will work.
Sheikh Zayed
Many countries go to war and then towards reconciliation. The history of mankind is full of stories of wars between people and states that have come together after fighting for long. Why can't Arabs be like them?
We must forgive and forget what has happened between who was once our enemy.
Martin Luther King, Jr
I have a dream, that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
People are not to be judged by their appearance but by what defines them as humans.

Course Goal 2 (Reflective Essay 2 )

Essay

In this essay I am going to speak about the stereotyping and, prejudice and discrimination like what does it mean and for examples in my life, what happen if it’s started to get stronger and more harmful.

First the stereotyping is a thought that may be adopted, like beliefs about one group of people and assign’s them to everyone on that group .and make judgment about them without knowing them. For example racial remarks, sexual remarks, and gender remarks are the biggest stereotypes. In UAE there that men are strong and do all the work, they aren't smart as a man and guys are messy and unclean. At worst stereotyping can turn into such things as racial profiling and other discriminatory things.

Next the prejudice is the judgment toward people or a person of gender, social class, religion, sexuality, disability or nationality, and it’s a unreasonable feeling, opinions or attitudes. For example if two employed applied for the same job and one have a well-known tribe and the other don’t the one who had the well-known tribe will get the job. In UAE the old people think that all young adult are untidy and reckless, and the young age think that all old people can’t work because they are old and week.

Lastly the discrimination, it is the action of judging others in favor or against a person’s race, belief, etc…. discrimination is the outcome of stereotyping and prejudice, because they beliefs in those things and it will affect the people , for example when I was a child we peat the zalmat because we are better than them but I know now that we all human and should respect every one ,

In conclusion UAE is one of the most Cultural Diverted Universities. But  we respect others is one of the most values we have. So Respect, Tolerate and accept the difference but we should keep our believe traditions and habits. And don’t harm the others.

Each of these examples have benefits and challenges, thanks to the different nationalities we are able to experience a lot of experiences , and communications between different people is possible because most of the people who go to the college speak their mother language and English or native English speakers know Arabic. the culture diversity and his benefit and challenges

In this essay I am going to speak about the culture diversity and his benefit and challenges in the country and how it will affect the people and their values and respect. Cultural diversity a homogenization of cultures, the phrase cultural diversity can also refer to having different cultures respects each other’s. In the culturally diversity there is good side and bad side.

First the benefit of culturally diversity is that can gain knowledge and know what the other people thinks about ours cultural, like when employees sit with other nationality employees they can gain learn from their expense and mistakes .then about technology how it getting better like you can pay for yours bills on the computer, having a video call, you can even have a surgery with operation doctor. Thanks to the different types of food we have many sources of needed nutrients, and people enjoy the mix in cuisine.
And now the disadvantages in cultural mix, due to the needs of knowledge of another language in some jobs and field of study the individual is in danger of forgetting his mother language, nowadays parents believe that by sending their children to study abroad they do not consider that their child is in danger of forgetting his mother language. An individual is also at risk of being unfamiliar with his own traditions and history because of the dominance of another culture and due to the need to adapt. Because of bad influence from other cultures bad habits spread in to many individuals, such as drinking alcohol and consuming illegal medicine.

In conclusion UAE is one of the most Cultural Diverted Universities. But respecting each other is one of the most values that they have. There goals is to reach peace between everybody there. So Respect, Tolerate and accept the difference but we should keep our believe traditions and habits.
