Isms	Example	Reason or motive
Ableism	-All mentally disabled people are crazy -people are afraid that they might get killed by disabled person.	-people fear and think that disabled people can be persuaded to do bad things easily. -Misunderstanding the disabilities.
Ageism	-fathers think that they are always right and think that their son is immature careless and disorganized.	-Because it is known that with age people become more weak physically and mentally - Teenagers are inexperienced and don’t know how to deal with problems
Classism	-if someone had a new expensive car he or she thinks that they are superior.	-Because people think highly of others who have more economical influence.
Racism	-Colombians are drug dealers - Black people are thugs	-due to the fact that Colombia is one of the world’s greatest supplier of cocaine. -because of some movies and other type of media black people are regarded as criminals.
religious	-All Muslims are terrorist s -All Jews are part of conspiracies	-this is a result of a minor group of religious extremists who justify their action as an act of God.  -this is also due to the influence of the media.
Sexism	-Boys are smarter than girls -women can’t fix their car if it breaks down in the middle of the road	-Because females act by their emotions. -because males are superior in physical strength and logical thinking.
